Eviction Exercise in lae

Illegal settlers in Lae from Kabwum residing on a portion of land that is not legally there’s are now victims of an eviction exercise currently carried out in the Linki eria along the Speedway passed Kamkumung.

Lae police have confirmed that they have been approached by landowners of that portion of Land were eviction is carried out to provide security during the exercise.

Acting Met. Supt Timothy Pomoso said police are only providing security and not carrying out the eviction exercise.

HE said he has not received any complaints so far and is still to receive a report on the extent of the exercise.
