YUMIFM PNG MUSIC AWARDS NIGHT SET FOR APRIL
The Music Awards Night will recognize the efforts of musicians who have done well on the famous National Weekly Hit Parade hosted on YUMIFM by our very own KASTY.
“For this year, like every other year, we continue to work hard to make this night special, not only for the musicians who performed well on our charts, but for the fans, who continue to listen in to YUMIFM,” said Dorothy Lowong, the Program Director of YUMIFM.
“This year it will be extra special and emotional for YUMIFM, as we pay tribute to the master mind behind the famous YUMIFM PNG Music National Weekly Hit Parade and a man who remained passionate in ensuring that PNG Musicians at all levels, were given a platform to expose their talent and earn a living from it.”
The late and most loved Justin Kili, better known as JK, will also be remembered on the night as the founder of YUMIFM’s Weekly Hit Parade which gave rise to the YUMIFM PNG MUSIC AWARDS night by PNGFM.
Artists expected to perform on the night include, Anslom, Jokema, Sharon Gely, Choke Band and Daniel Bilip, with the event managed by the TOTAL EVENT COMPANY.
The PNGFM Company and its staff are looking forward to ensuring this night will be remembered by PNG MUSIC lovers and YUMIFM fans who continue to support our local musicians.
