Aiton disappointed not hearing from Kumuls
Twelve time Test Papua New Guinea stalwart Paul Aiton says he was brushed by the Kumuls since a "disgraceful" 2013 World Cup campaign, describing the situation as "ridiculous".
Aiton was always contacted over the past nine years to be part of the team.
However, he told the Rugby League Week magazine, he is disappointed he did not hear from the Kumuls this year.
Aiton is alleging the national selection to be politicised, saying he was left out including other good players like James Segeyaro, and David Mead.
The 2017 World Cup, which will include matches in PNG, would be an ideal end to Aiton's career.
However he says, he's disgraced over the Kumuls performance in the 2013 World Cup.
