PNG Pukpuks get support

The Pukpuk 7s campaign to the Singapore 7s Tournament got much needed assistance today to go towards their training preparations and travel when InterOil gave a huge sponsorship.
InterOil Ltd Executive Director, Isikeli Taureka presented to PNGRFU General Manager, Frank Genia a cheque of over K100, 000 at the InterOil officer in Port Moresby.
A great full Genia thanked InterOil for the support saying this will go a long way to also help the young upcoming players to represent PNG on the international stage.
“This is a development 7s team and will consist of young up and coming players,” Genia said.
The InterOil Turagu development squad’s participation at the Tournament will determine a final selection side to represent PNG as the PNG Pukpuks 7s team and participate in the Olympic qualifiers competition in New Zealand in November.
