Solomon Islands announces appoinment of new permanent secretaries
The Solomon Islands Government through the Public Service Commission has appointed new Permanent Secretaries to some ministries.
This include the Ministry of National Unity, Reconciliation and Peace, Ministry of Communication and Aviation, Ministry of Infrastructure Development, and the Ministry of Mines Energy and Rural Electrification.
The Public Service Commission has appointed Justus Gaeti Denni as Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of National Unity Reconciliation and Peace ;
*Moses Virivolomo as the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Communication and Aviation;
*Henry Murray Aife as the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Infrastructure Development; and
*Jeffrey Sade Deve as Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Mines Energy and Rural Electrification.
The four new appointments were made following the end of contracts of their predecessors and in the case of the Ministry of Communication and Aviation after the dismissal of the former post holder.
The new Permanent Secretaries have already taken up post in their respective Ministries after signing their contracts with the Government.
