Better promotion platform for music in PNG

Music in PNG is moving forward at this day and age, but the music industry needs a good platform to promote music produced by local artists.

This is the comment from an upcoming music artist Mr. Stanley Mark (aka Spenzii), who has been using the social media to promote his music to the public.

“Many Papua New Guinean artists make their living through music and most of them play because they love to do it too and to not have a good way of promoting local artist is just letting them down,” Mark said.

It is for this reason that Mark and his band BLAT FAYA have been using facebook to promote their music by sharing them on the social media. Mark said through this way he found it easy and free to get music to a wider audience, plus get their feed backs as well.

The band’s got a total of 16 songs on its 2016 album “Reality,” and Mark has been sharing one song each week until all songs are shared on facebook and hopefully get fans and a good recording deal one day.

Mark is teamed up with his band member John Dobunaba (aka JDizzle) in this album.
