Kumul Petroleum Gives to charity

Three charity organisations were assisted in a big way today when the Kumul Petroleum Holdings presented a total of over K75, 000 to them to support their charity work.
The Managing Director Mr. Wapu Sonk when presenting three cheques each to PNG Cancer Foundation, Chesire Home and Life PNG Care, said the assistance given would cater for people living with disabilities, cancer and underprivileged and orphaned children in the communities.
“Our country is now facing health related issues including disability, increase in various forms of cancer as well as the issue of orphans who become homeless when parents die mainly from HIV and AIDS related causes,” said Mr. Sonk.
Sonk added that this presentation is the company’s obligation as a nationally owned company to address health and socioeconomic issues faced by the unfortunate people in the country.
Kumul Petroleum Holdings pledged to continue supporting such charity organisations in the future.
