Telikom PNG Directory goes online
TELIKOM PNG Contact Centre has introduced an on-line directories service for its customers. On a daily basis it receives up to 2000 calls all over the country and the introduction of this service should see this being reduced.
Service Assurance Manager for Telikom PNG, Ellen Pamun said customers will now with ease be able to search the required contact numbers online without having to call the Contact Centre team for assistance. “This feature is now available on the Telikom PNG website, where intending callers will type in the desired contact address and location to retrieve numbers,” Ms Pamun said. Ms Pamun emphasised that all numbers listed in the directory will have the consent of customers before the numbers are displayed. She said this is standard practice so if certain contact numbers do not appear in the directory it would mean that the customer concerned has not given consent for contact numbers to be displayed.
In announcing this new service, Ms Pamun also commended Telikom Service Assurance team for the conceptual design and Telikom ICT team for the software construction. of the online directory system. “Telikom PNG has a team of young and smart Papua New Guineans who have built the system without the help of external parties. This is a Telikom made product where we have utilised the skills and qualifications of our employees.
