Schools prepare for National Examination

With National Examinations around the corner, schools in the country have already started preparing their students by conducting mock exams, remedial classes and summarising every topic covered.
In Gerehu Secondary, the Deputy Academic principal Mr Saju Francis said some teachers have been conducting remedial classes for their students during the holiday.

“It is vital that every student must seek assistant from their teachers even on holidays if they need help on a particular topic or subject in preparation for their examination”
Mr Francis also urged students to take heed of studying tips offered by teachers, parents and older siblings as it is very critical that they stay focus in the last remaining weeks before examination begins.

“Some students are into this boy friend/ girl friend relationships and Facebook which has very much affected their performance in school which then reflects on their exam paper, so I’m calling on those students to refocus on what is important in your life and that is your National exam” said Mr Francis.
Meanwhile the grade 12 National Examination will be on the 10th -14th of October which is just a week away, followed by the grade 10 Examination from the 17th -21st and the finally the grade 8 Examination will take place on the 24th -27th of October. ..read more on >> PNG Education News
