Pangu Party moves camp to Port Moresby

The PANGU Pati will dissolve its Goroka camp and leave for Port Moresby this afternoon.

Leader and Member-elect for Bulolo, Sam Basil, made the announcement this morning.

Basil has called on all MP's in Eastern Highlands and Chimbu to come together today to discuss strategies and move together to Port Moresby as a force.

Mr Basil has been in Goroka for a week now, and says he will take his camp to Port Moresby.

PANGU has a confirmed ten-men team and are awaiting the declaration of their candidate, Ginson Goheyu Saonu in the Morobe Provincial seat, and possibly, Jerry Singirok from the Madang Provincial seat.

Lufa's MP-elect Moriape Kavori and Okapa's Saki Soloma are a certain inclusion with Lae's John Rosso.

Mr Basil did not clarify if they will join the National Alliance-led camp in Kokopo, but only says his team will be in Port Moresby.

A series of meetings will be held before the team departs Goroka.
