Man pleads guilty to rape of Mt Diamond student
A man from Eastern Highlands pleaded guilty for his involvement in the rape of a female student who is attending Mount Diamond Secondary School in Central Province in June of 2015.
He appeared before Judge Panuel Mogish yesterday (16 August) and pleaded guilty to his crime.
It was alleged that the man was part of a drunken group of students that were involved in sexual penetration without consent near the school grounds on June 16 2015. He was arrested and charged for sexual penetration without consent.
Furthermore, it was also alleged that he was drinking with the group of male students at the time the rape took place and that he himself was not a member of the school. Post Courier/PNG Today
