Lands and Physical Minister Rosso to reclaim lands in PNG
PNG Member for Lae John Rosso said his first task as Lands and Physical Planning minister is to reclaim parks and recreational land areas that were illegally taken, especially in major towns and cities.
Minister Rosso also highlighted that under his leadership he will make it accessible for ordinary citizens to get their land titles sorted out.
John Rosso was given a brief by the former Lands minister Justin Tkatchenko during the Hand-over Take- over ceremony today, (Tuesday 11th June).
Mr Rosso was also briefed on the department's vision and on some of the work that are in progress.
Prime Minister James Marape during the swearing -in ceremony last Friday said John Rosso comes from a city electorate and he understood better the land issues, and he believes Mr Rosso will do a better job in that area.
