Injury ends Willie Minoga's UK Barrow Raiders Contract, leaves for PNG
UK Rugby League Club, Barrow Raiders have released PNG Rugby League International Willie Minoga after he sustained season ending injury. The club posted via social media that Willie Minoga will be leaving for PNG.
"Barrow Raiders are sad to announce that Willie Minoga will be departing for PNG next week. Willie has had a scan on his injured knee and he will be unable to play again this season. His season has been dogged by injury but he has been a massive presence around the club and, along with his fellow PNG stars, has put the Raiders on the map with their community and schools work. Willie will be at the game tomorrow versus Leigh to say good-bye to his fans and everyone at the club wish him well. He is a fantastic guy", the club said.
