A Local calls for Kramer & Yama to respect Madang People

A local advocator for good governance in Madang Province is calling on Governor Peter Yama and Member for Madang and Police Minister, Bryan Kramer, to put aside their political differences and respect the people of Madang Province whom they represent in Parliament.

Alois Ulan from Raikos District expressed his disappointment this morning following reports in the two dailies early this week on the ongoing debate between the two Madang leaders.

Mr. Ulan said the people of Madang deserve better than the two leaders’ personal political differences and infighting.

He points out that there are better issues, relevant to the development of the province, that the two leaders should be seriously discussing instead of pursuing their own agendas that are totally irrelevant to the development of Madang District and Madang Province.

The frustrated Ulan adds the people of Madang Province have a lot of respect for both leaders; however, the manner in which they are both conducting themselves in regard to Mr. Kramer’s citizenship issue is childish and laughable.
