PNG Air launches 35th Anniversary Song Competition
PNG Air is celebrating 35 Years of Connecting Papua New Guinea in 2022, since the airline first took off in 1987. As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are pleased to launch the PNG Air 35th Anniversary Song Competition.
The competition is open to all budding and established musicians, to record and submit a lyrical or instrumental song that captures the story of our airline. We want participants to be as creative as possible, whether you play the guitar, kundu, garamut or know your way around a Digital Audio Workstation.
The 60 second song should highlight and celebrate our airline’s heritage, from Milne Bay Airlines, to Airlines PNG through to PNG Air today; connecting people across Papua New Guinea, bringing loved ones together and allowing businesses to grow. Therefore, we are looking for a song that puts the customer at the heart of our 35-year history, and tells the story of who we are now.

The winning entry will feature in our 35th anniversary video, and K5,000 worth of flights to anywhere on our network.
The competition is open from May 2nd and will close May 31st. Entries can be submitted to our website, or through our Facebook Page. Full details and terms and conditions are available on our website.
