Stanley Tepend appointed New PNG Kumuls Coach
The Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League has announced the appointment of Stanley Tepend as the coach of the PNG LNG Kumuls.
Tepend replaces long-time coach Michael Marum, who resigned last month.

PNGRFL Chief Executive Officer Stanley Hondina made the announcement yesterday.
Tepend had served as assistant coach to Michael Marum over the last six years.
Mr. Hondina said he has the experience and qualifications to provide that continued growth and stability for the team.
PNRFL said Tepend has worked hard and built an impressive coaching career making him a well-respected coach in Papua New Guinea.
NRL premiership winning Coach, Shane Flanagan has been appointed as Kumuls coaching consultant to assist Tepend for the 2021 Rugby league World Cup in England later this year.
