According to the Constabulary, successful applicants from this round will form part of Batch 02/2025 and will commence regular recruit training in April 2026. A separate nationwide call-out for applicants from other provinces is expected to be released early next year.

The RPNGC said the drive supports the National Government’s commitment to strengthen security by expanding the police force to 10,000 personnel by 2030. From 2026 onwards, the Constabulary aims to take in about 700 recruits per intake to meet this target.

To improve transparency and streamline screening, the Constabulary’s Human Resource Directorate has shifted the entire process onto the Online Recruitment Portal System. All applications for the 2025–2026 intake must be submitted through the digital platform.

Recognising that internet access and digital skills vary across the country, the RPNGC will conduct a provincial awareness and walk-in assistance program. The outreach will begin in Central and Gulf provinces to help Grade 12 school leavers and rural applicants understand and access the online system.
