NBC Secures Exclusive Rights to Broadcast 2026 OFC Pro League in PNG

The National Broadcasting Corporation of Papua New Guinea (NBC) has officially acquired exclusive rights to televise the 2026 OFC Pro League, ensuring that football fans across the country can follow every moment of the tournament.

The announcement comes as PNG Hekari FC prepares to represent the nation in the regional competition, with NBC promising extensive coverage to showcase the team’s journey.

NBC managing director Kora Nou said the partnership reflected the broadcaster’s commitment to promoting local talent and fostering national unity through sport. “We are proud to bring the OFC Pro League to every Papua New Guinean,” he said.

“PNG Hekari carries our flag in this tournament, and NBC is honoured to walk with them. This is more than a football tournament – it’s a celebration of our identity, our pride, and our place in the region,” Nou added.

NBC will provide pre-match and post-match analysis, behind-the-scenes features, and expert commentary across all its platforms, ensuring fans experience the excitement firsthand.

The broadcaster will air all PNG Hekari matches live on NBC TV and NBC Radio, delivering the action to homes, villages, and communities nationwide.

Games in the 2026 OFC Pro League will take place across multiple host nations, including Fiji, Auckland, Melbourne, Honiara, and Port Moresby, featuring both group and knockout stages
