UPNG Announces Selection List for 2026 Academic Year
The University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) has officially released its
selection lists for the 2026 academic year, covering both School Leavers
and Non-School Leavers admitted to the institution.
In a
statement, the University congratulated all successful applicants and
advised students, parents, and sponsors to rely only on official
information published on the University’s website, www.upng.ac.pg
, for accurate and up-to-date details regarding admissions and registration.
UPNG advised School Leavers to check the email address they provided through the DHERST National Online Application System (NOAS), where official acceptance letters from the University have been sent. Non-School Leavers have also been advised to check the email address used in the UPNG Applicant Portal for their official acceptance letters and further admission instructions.
The University confirmed that the 2026 Fee Structure, registration instructions, important registration dates, and the user manual for online payment of compulsory fees via BSP Pay, including course registration guidelines, are now available on the UPNG website.
Meanwhile, the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) has yet to release the selection lists for other universities and colleges. So far, only the University of Papua New Guinea, Divine Word University, and Pacific Adventist University have confirmed the release of their 2026 selection lists.
UPNG has urged all accepted students to carefully read the published instructions and comply with all deadlines to ensure smooth registration for the 2026 academic year. The announcement was issued by the Acting Registrar of the University of Papua New Guinea.
