PNG Valentine Travellers Get Boost with Air Niugini’s “Love in the Air” Promotion

PNG couples planning a Valentine’s getaway can benefit from a new airfare promotion announced by Air Niugini, offering discounted domestic return flights under its “Love in the Air” campaign.

The promotion provides a 30 per cent reduction on base fares for bookings made by two adults travelling together.

The airline said the offer is part of its seasonal initiatives to stimulate domestic travel while giving passengers more affordable options during peak celebratory periods. Sales will run for two days only in early February.

Passengers who secure tickets during the sales window will be able to travel between February 7 and March 31, 2026, subject to fare availability and booking class conditions.

Air Niugini confirmed that the promotion is strictly limited to online bookings made through its official website and applies to selected booking classes only. Taxes, airport charges and other fees are not included in the discount.

Only roundtrip journeys are eligible, while one-way and multi-city itineraries are excluded. Bookings must contain exactly two adult passengers, with no allowance for children or infants.

The airline noted that all passengers must present valid identification at check-in and during travel, in line with standard airline requirements.
