CULT LEADER BLACK JESUS KILLED

Cult leader. Steven Tari killed
Madang police this morning confirmed the killing of the famous cult leader in the province, Steven Tari.
Commonly known as ‘Black Jesus’, he was killed yesterday morning, together with one of his male followers at Gal Village, inland Madang, by frustrated villagers.
Tari was on the run from police after escaping from Beon Gaol with 48 other prisoners in April this year.
Provincial Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Sylvester Kalaut, is out of the province and could not be reached for his comments on the killings; however, according to police reports on the ground, angry villagers conducted a raid on Tari’s hideout yesterday morning where he was trying to kill a second young woman to use her blood to wash as a sacrifice and offering to some unknown gods that he and his followers worship.
Reports further revealed he had killed another young woman on Tuesday this week at Asuar Village, Transgogol for the same ritual.
Police say the body of the first victim will be exhumed tomorrow for a post mortem and further investigations.
Meanwhile, members of the Rapid Response Unit, police investigators and hospital authorities are currently on their way to Gal Village to retrieve Tari’s body and that of his follower.
It is, however, highly unlikely that Tari’s body will be moved to the hospital mortuary as it has been badly mutilated in the attack.
