Prime Minister O'Neill expresses concerns at Sydney Hostage situation
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill was among first leaders who expressed concern for the welfare of hostages currently being held in an unfolding security situation in Sydney, Australia.
He said, the thoughts and prayers of Papua New Guineans are with the people who've been taken hostage and their families.
The Prime Minister said, PNG is shocked to see the situation occurred to its close neighbour and hopefully a peaceful resolution can be achieved.
And the U.S president, the prime ministers of Canada, New Zealand and India have also given their reactions to the unfolding hostage situation in Sydney.
