Samoa bound Fiji airways flight turns back

A Samoa bound  Fiji airways flight turned back after the pilots detect slight shift in one of the parameters of the plane, Fiji Time reports. Fiji Airways managing director and chief executive officer Stefan Pichler praised the initiative of the pilots of the Apia-bound flight to return to Nadi.

"The parameters were well within the manufacturer's limits and the captain made the decision to bring the aircraft back to Nadi only as a precaution," said Mr Pichler. The incident happened four days after fumes forced an air turn back of an Auckland-bound flight from Nadi.
