Hospital Poroman Host Funky Cancer Hair day
Hospital Poroman Foundation is hosting a Funky Cancer Hair Day event today at the Lamana Hotel, Port Moresby.
The campaign has been running for three months with people registered to take part in the fundraising event.
According to the Events Organizer Ms Sasha Silovo, those who registered will shave or dye their hair for cancer and also give in their funds they have raised through their own initiatives as well.
Alot of famous people in the media as well as in sports are getting behind and showing their support for Hospital Poroman Foundation to raise funds for our kids & those suffering from cancer in the country.
"Radio personalities like Kasty from 93FM Yumifm and Roger Hauofa from FM100 have raise K4000 and K7000 respectively for this worthy course and PNG Pukpuk boys have also showed their support too," said Ms Silovo.
Proceeds and funds raised from this event will be used to purchase items and stuff for kids at the cancer ward at the Port Moresby General Hospital.
