Police man caught stealing laptop and mobile phone

A couple of Japanese Tourists that were robbed off their properties at the Varirata National Park on Friday have received their stolen items back after police apprehended 5 of the suspects that stole from the tourists and locked them up.
NCD Divisional Commander Sylvester Kalaut has confirmed that the main suspect was a police man who was caught in his possession a lap top and a smart-phone belonging to the tourists which him and his accomplices stole.
Commander Kalaut says the policeman and his accomplices were drunk and demanded to enter the Varirata Park without paying the entry fee and were refused at the gate by the the security guard, which got them in an heated argument with the guards.
The Tourists unknowingly making their way out of the park were held up and searched by the drunk police man and his friends and they confiscated the valuable items.
The security guards were quick in contacting the Central Police who arrived in time and had the policeman and his 4 other friends arrested and locked up.
Mr Kalaut says all of them were released on bail but will appear in court and as for the main culprit, that police officer will receive severe punishment from the force.
