Times are changing and so are time devices. From the simple sand and glass sundials to the most sophisticated 21st century watches that can communicate with computers and mobile phones.

 The features of wrist watches in this age are not only to tell time but to also make and receive calls and also dictate a phone plus more. Major technology companies like Samsung, iPhone and Huawei are working on Android Smart Watches that communicate with their phones and complement android features and applications. 

While answering a call from your big tablet may be risky in public places where thugs are always present, you can still carry your tablet in the convenience of your bag while your android watch does the work of answering and making calls as well as sending and receiving messages all through a local Wi-Fi hotspot or Bluetooth connection to the tablet. 

Newer versions of android wristwatches are now incorporating a sim card slot so a watch can take and make calls independently.
