Former Kumul ,Petrus Thomas wins Koroba-Kopiago Open Seat

Former PNG Rugby League International and independent Candidate Petrus Thomas has won  Koroba-Kopiago Open  seat after the final round of elimination .

 Mr. Thomas scored  well over 16 000 votes to win. He was leading with 14020 votes while running second was Mathias Manga with 11 630 votes.  After third runner-up Bobby Yupi's votes of  11 536 were distributed,Thomas surged to well over 16 000 votes to win the seat.

He is the first Independent candidate declared so far in this election.
