NCD REGIONAL SET TO BEGIN COUNT

NCD regional seat is set to commence counting this afternoon at the Rita Flynn while the other three open electorates are still sorting out administrative matters and will begin counting tomorrow.

NCD Elections Manager Alwyn Jimmy said the North East and North West electorates are still sorting out their staff and counting materials while Moresby South had venue issues.


Mr. Jimmy said Kilakila Sec School will not host counting as classes begin next Monday so they have changed the venue to Murray Barracks and will begin their counting tomorrow.
South retuning officer Michael Are confirmed that his counting officials were ready to begin counting but due to a change in the venue, officers were told to retire till tomorrow.
