ABG President Momis praises Konnou people
The ABG President Chief DR. JOHN MOMIS has praised the people of Konnou, Wisai and Kokoda for making their business and calling for reconciliation with the leaders after a boycotted signing of the Tonolei timber MOA in Buin recently.
President Momis said that Bougainville needed leaders who can be man enough to say sorry and want forgiveness from them.
He said the recent failed MOA signing in which he was present when the Landowners boycotted the signing crying foul play in the negotiations between the national member, TIMOTHY MASIU and the Constituency member, Willie Masiu with the ABG forestry office officials.
President MOMIS said that the reconciliation now paves the way for the awareness to be carried out in the area before the project can get off the ground.
