ANZ launches first Pacific-wide mobile banking app

ANZ today announced the launch of the first Pacific-wide mobile banking app, giving customers using iPhones, iPads and Android phones more flexibility to manage their money on the go.

ANZ Regional Executive for Pacific, Tessa Price, said: “As smartphone usage increases across the region, more of our customers are embracing digital banking.

“We are pleased to be the first major bank in the Pacific to introduce a mobile banking app for customers, so they can manage their money on the go.

“Providing our customers with a secure mobile banking app that gives them access to their money, no matter where they are, is part of our commitment to make banking easier and more convenient.”

ANZ Country Head for Fiji, Saud Minam, said: “The ANZ Pacific App is another step in helping move Fiji towards its goal of replacing cash and cheques with electronic payments.

“Customers in Fiji look to us for innovation and we are very pleased to be the first major bank to deliver a mobile banking app to customers,” he said.
