ORO PPC clears air on threatening rumours
The beheading of a youth in Oro has led to threatening rumors towards Oro students living and studying in Eastern Highlands Province.
Oro Provincial Police Commander Michael Welly condemned the rumors both on social media and by members of the affected communities.
“These are just rumors and we want the public to stop spreading rumors”, said PPC Welly.
PPC Welly appealed to the public that anything they hear must be verified and reported to the police to carry out proper investigations.
Both Oro PPC and EHP said all Oro students residing in Goroka are safe and not in any kind of threat. LegendFM/PNG Today
