Christians in PNG to march for West Papua
Christians throughout Port Moresby have been urged to join the planned march in support of West Papua tomorrow.
President of the Catholic Professionals Society of PNG, Paul Harricknen, says it is the duty of every Christian to pray and advocate for justice, peace and human rights for the suffering.
The march, led by the PNG Council of Churches, is planned to start at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Jack Pidik Park and end at the Sir John Guise Stadium.
National Capital District Governor, Powes Parkop, who is also Chairman of the NCD Peace and Good Order Committee, says the Metropolitan Superintendent, Perou N'dranou, has given approval for the march.
