PNG Opposition Leader Namah urges PM Marape Not to blame previous O'Neill Govt

Papua New Guinea Opposition Leader and Vanimo/Green MP Belden Namah, has urged all MPs and Ministers including the Prime Minister to stop blaming past leaders for the country's current problems and start working to fix them.

Mr. Namah said this when presenting his budget reply in Parliament yesterday.

He said that he is sick and tired of leaders blaming each other, because most of them who are currently in Government including the Prime Minister, was once part of the previous government, and had held various Ministerial portfolios as well.

Mr. Namah also used the occasion to urge all leaders to put aside their differences and unite together to try and rescue the country from the path it is currently on.
