Study in Australia Roadshow underway in PNG

It is the dream of almost every student to study overseas. To get a world recognized qualification from a well-equipped institution and to be able to secure jobs in any country are some factors that attract students to seek education outside their country.

The Australian Government through the Australian Awards has been helping pacific islanders to get an Australian education qualification. The Australian Education Roadshow PNG 2016 held today in Port Moresby saw the participation of more than 20 Australian universities who came to showcase their courses to potential students in Papua New Guinean.

The roadshow was packed by students and potential applicants who got course advising from representatives of the different Australian Universities. They also received application forms as well as information on how to apply. Most of these potential applicants will also be applying for government scholarships and it is now upon our government to facilitate more of such events and scholarships to boost the human resource of the country.

The Road show will be held tomorrow in Madang at the Divine Word University. PNGFM
