Prime Minister, Peter O'Neill, says there is no place for public servants who think they own positions they hold, and can do whatever they want to do.

Mr. O'Neill says, these kinds of behaviour and way of thinking must be done away with, if the country is to move forward.

The Prime Minister said this as he travelled to Lae today, to personally deal with the ongoing conflict at the University of Technology.

The dispute between Vice Chancellor, Dr Albert Schram, and members of the University Council, led by outgoing Chancellor, Philip Stagg, is threatening to disrupt the operations of the university.

Mr. O'Neill says, there should be no disruption whatsoever, and those who continue to encourage such disruption, have no interest of the children.

He wants the issue be resolved once and for all, before the 2013 academic year starts.
