Commonwealth Games Gold Medalists rewarded
Prime Minister Peter O'Neill has presented the promised reward of K100 000 each to the two Commonwealth Gold medalists Steven Kari and Dika Toua.
Both Steven and Dika put PNG on the world map when they snatched two Gold medals in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
The duo participated in the weightlifting and won gold medals respectively.
There were parliament dignitaries to present the gifts. Prime Minister Peter O'neill while presenting the gifts thanked the team for being good ambassadors and congratulated Dika and Kari for their win.
