PNG Flag fly high in Special Olympics in the United States
The Papua New Guinea flag is flying high in the American State of California, where the Special Olympics is taking place.
Speaking to our reporter Paul Taumik at the University of Southern California where the Games have been playing since Saturday, Head of the Special Delegation Takale Tuna says, all the athletes have made it to the finals of their respective events.
Thompson Ninkama will be competing in the finals of both the 15-hundred and 3-thousand meters on Wednesday, after winning lead up heats today.
With the women, Rosa Nege came first in her shot put event also qualifying for the finals, while Grace Dindillo came second in her event, also qualifying.
