Micah calls for better protection of parliamentarians

He said losing a leader was a serious issue for parliament and the country and urgently needed to be addressed to preserve leaders who were dying and the value of leadership and their experience diminished.
He said according to reports he received, late Mr. Ganasi died as a result of waiting in a queue to be served when he could have been treated immediately.
Vanimo Green MP Belden Namah raised similar sentiments but challenged leaders to change their lifestyles from lessons learnt and live healthy – have regular exercises and control their diet.
He said that leaders were there for the people and they are bound to take care of themselves as their people expected the best from them in delivering much needed services. PNGFM/ PNG Today
