Students caught with homebrew

Waigani police this morning around 11am caught 13 students from secondary schools in NCD for illegal consumption of home brew at the back of Waigani shooting area opposite Laguna hotel.

According to police personnel on the ground, they caught the students after receiving tip off from their intelligence.

The students are currently in police custody at the Waigani police station.
Police say they are now waiting for the student's parents to come and talk with them.
Police say absence of parents will result in charges be laid upon those students for consumption of home brew and also under age drink. PNGFM/PNG Today
