PNG Opposition continues to push for nationwide protest
The planned boycott or stay away from work has been received with mix public reaction with major union bodies including the PNG Trade Union Congress, Police Union and Teachers Association distancing themselves from taking part.
Mr Kramer said this boycott will be the first of its kind where individuals can exercise their choice to stop work and stay home in protest over unaccounted spending of millions on the purchases of 40 Maseratis’ and 3 Bentleys’ for the APEC Leaders Summit at a cost of K23 million.
