The Supreme Court bench which comprises three judges unanimously ruled in favoured of the PNG Electoral Commission and its application to have the Supreme Court orders of the 25th of April 2019 to be set aside.

He said once the minister approves the new dates, the electoral commission will go ahead and accept nominations since the writs have already been issues.
