Snake blamed for Power Outage in Port Moresby

The city of Port Moresby was hit hard with power outage last night and  a snake was blamed for the this. According to the power supplier, PNG Power, an external factor which was a snake caused  the 3 am power outage.  PNG Power released the following statement via social media.

'To our valued Customers we had Total Power Outage throughout the city at 3.00am due to an external factor caused by a Snake (Pic Attached) touching the Kanudi Power Station and caused the Power Outage throughout the city.
Restoration Time began at 5.17am this morning currently all Power Supply has been restored as of 9am today
We sincerely apologies for the inconvenience caused during the early morning hours and thank you for your patience.
