Police in PNG appeal for Young Female to report to Station after video goes viral
Papua New Guinea Police in Port Moresby are appealing for the young female in a video which has gone viral on the internet to come forward to Police.
The video posted on social media clearly shows her being threatened and intimidated so that she would not report an incident. The person speaking behind the video goes on to threaten to kill the young female and any police who would take her complaint. In the background it seems a firearm was loaded and a shot fired.
CID Boroko have been trying to locate her from when the video was posted on social media.
Police understand that she will be fearful and have distrust of any Police at this point of time.
The office of Divisional Commander NCD/Central guarantees her safety and appeals to herself or anyone who knows her make contact with Police.
Police are calling on the public as well as the young girl to contact them or report her to th eNCD/Central Divisional Headquarters at Boroko Police Station. Use the back entrance.
The office is on the second floor of the double storey building on the left as you enter the back gate of Boroko Police Station. Ask for Deputy Commander A/CSP Laimo Asi or Staff Officer to Commander SIP David Terry.
