PNG Justice Minister Niningi sworn in as chairman of the Judicial and Legal Services Commission
Governor-General Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae yesterday officiated at the swearing-in ceremony of the new chairman of the Judicial and Legal Services Commission (JLSC).

The JLSC is established by the Constitution and is responsible for the appointment of judges, magistrates and certain Constitutional Office Holders.
Members of the JLSC are required by law to make a declaration of office before the Governor-General before they take up their duties as members of the JLSC.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Department Secretary Dr Eric Kwa.
