Hela youngster stars in Rugby League in the Unite States

Rugby league players from PNG continue to be sought after by countries overseas, even as far as the United States.

The latest addition to this increasing overseas recruitment is young Kennedy Girox from Hela.

Girox has signed on for the second year with the Central Florida Warriors, a team that plays in the USA Rugby League (USARL) competition.

The youngster moved to the US at the end of 2013 to take up studies and a trial with the Warriors saw him getting signed up almost immediately.

Girox, who plays at five-eighth, is in pre-season with his team to prepare for the 2015 season.

But he is not alone, with other PNG players Jester Mombu, Terrence Chross, Emmanuel Moses and Charles Agoma all playing for the Warriors.
