Nomination for ABG general elections starts

Nominations for the ABG general election commenced at 8am Bougainville Standard Time and so far women have started nominating for the constituencies, New Dawn Fm reports.

The first to nominate for the Women's seat for North Bougainville was DR.Naomi Tulaha then Francesca Semoso for the same seat with Lina Paii whilst other women nominated for the Constituencies.

They are Cecily Kekun for the Tonsu seat challenging the Minister for Public Service, Joel Banam and Scolly Miriori for the Tsitalato seat challenging sitting member Cosmas Sohia who will nominate later today.

For the Presidential seat only one, FR. SIMON DUMARINU nominated this morning.

Returning Officers in all the districts are very busy accepting nominations today.
