Boroko Primary School Celebrates 40th Independence
Boroko Primary school celebrated our country’s 40th Independence with colorful cultural and traditional attires.
Students dressed in their respective provinces and sing and danced to songs from their regions with pride and anticipation.
Parents and family members played a big part during this celebration with dressing their children in their traditional attires, cooking traditional foods and danced alone their children during the cultural show parade.
During the welcoming remarked grade eight teacher Daniel Siwanene said let the kundu’s bite from the southern coasts shores to the highlands with celebrations to mark our 40th Independence.
The school grounds was decorated in our nation’s colors of black, yellow and red with students and their families enjoying the day with food stalls, craft markets and the main cultural show of all our 22 provinces.
