Parliament Speaker Zurenuoc farewells Agiru

Speaker of parliament Theo Zurenuoc has described the late Hela governor Anderson Agiru as a symbol of unity for PNG and Hela Province, and a simple leader with a big heart for his people.

Mr. Zurenuoc, when formally handing over the casket of the Late Governor to the people of Hela was astounded by the number of haus krais in Tari as well as Mendi and said it was a testimony of how well respected late Mr. Agiru was and challeged the upcoming leaders of Hela to maintain the standards & legacy that this great leader has begun.

He thanked the people of Hela for creating such a good leader in the province and we will only see and feel the hardwork of the late leader.

He said such great leaders deserved all the respect and it was only proper that the PM and the government made time to come to Tari to farewell a great man and leader.  PNGFM / PNG Today
