Prime Minister Peter O'Neill pays tribute to late first female judge

Prime Minister Peter O'Neill expressed sympathy and condolence to the family of the Late Justice Catherine Davani, following her passing on Friday

Mr. O'Neill urged girls in the country, to look to the example of Late Justice Davani, who had aspired to break through barriers to be what she want to be in her career.
Mr. O'Neill thanked the late judge for her esteemed service to ensuring the compliance of the rule of law in the country.

The Late Justice Davani had the proud distinction of being Papua New Guinea's first female Judge when she was appointed March, 2001.
She had battled cancer for over a year and passed away on Friday afternoon, in Brisbane surrounded by her husband, John and family.
