PNG Politics : Opposition vote out Members of the Private Member Committee
The Papua New Guinea Opposition with his numerical strength has managed to remove four members of the Private Members Committee.
The Committee is tasked to deliberate on the Vote of No Confidence Motion, which is expected to go before the committee tomorrow.
They include Deputy Speaker Jeffery Komal, NCD Governor Powes Parkop, Henganofi MP Robert Atiyafa and Mul Baiyer MP Koi Trappe.
They are now being replaced by East Sepik Governor Allan Bird, Manus Governor Charlie Benjamin, Middle Ramu's Johnny Alonk, North Fly's James Donald and Job Pomat to remain as Chairman.
Parliament has been adjourned to 10AM tomorrow.
